Suspicious Arrest

Three blocks from my home, I noticed two cars positioned awkwardly with people standing around. I initially thought it was a traffic accident. As I got closer, I noticed a woman facing the car with a man behind her standing very closely and doing something with his hands that I couldn't see. The woman's hands were behind her back. After the maneuver was completed, I saw that she had handcuffs on her. I also noticed that two other men near the car also had handcuffs on them. Three other men around the car who were not wearing handcuffs appeared to possibly be undercover police officers.

This event seems suspicious for the following reasons:

1) One of the men who had handcuffs on him was lead into an apartment building. When someone is arrested, they are typically taken away without being allowed to go back to recover things. It's possible that he revealed information about an injured person or where evidence was located, but it's suspicious.

2) No badges were visible. I have seen other arrests performed by undercover police officers. They always wear badges on necklaces tucked in their shirt which they take out after they reveal that they are officers. I guess it's better in a sting operation to not have badges, but it's suspicious.

3) The handcuffs were black. All handcuffs I have seen used by NYC police officers have had a metallic look. It's possible that this department uses special handcuffs or if there is a new supplier, but I have not seen this before.

The woman looked like a porn star. I had earlier suspected that it was an arrest for prostitution until I noticed some inconsistencies. Now I suspect it might have been filming of a low budget porn movie, but I did not see any cameras.
