This is my latest obsession:
I'm working on a variation with a soccer ball because I have one, but I don't have the acrylic ball that is typically used.
I haven't had an analog addiction in a long time.

such control

I started last week and have very little control. That is what I like most about it.

When will we see videos of you doing it?

After I master it.

How long do estimate it will take you to achieve this level?

I used to do something similar with hackey sacks when I got bored of using my feet, but never to this level (plus hackey sacks don't really roll).

How long have you been doing your variation of it?

The acrylic clear ball seems important to the illusion of stillness and at times, an optical illusion of actually floating in the persons hands.

This is difficult to estimate. I guess between 2 months and 2 years.

They seem better for regular juggling.

I bought a smaller ball today, but it's yellow.

the street performer seems so much better than the guy with a show.
I agree. Moschen supposedly invented this, but I think he hasn't innovated much since then. Other practitioners have developed new techniques.

They are. But for me, they have to be of equal weight, because any balance offset disrupts my ability. I like sand hacks best.

Why aren't the weights equal?

Why aren't the weights equal?
Varying sizes, thread materials, and fillings. When I was a teenager, I had one that was 100% hemp, with hemp seeds for the "beads." Over time, kicking it loosened the threads, and the seeds began to fall out as they were crushed from the impact of being kicked. And once, I had one that had some kind of material inside of it analogous to styrofoam. I also used to cut small holes into my hackey sacks and remove some of the beads, then stitch the hole I had made, to make stalling easier. With the differences they already had, this would make the weight vary considerably.
