- Elevator problems - never stopping on the right floor, strange floor number sequences,
- Apartment numbers out of sequence - usually at the building where I lived when I was young

- Collapse of tall buildings - including WTC prior to 9/11
- Closet wall - either hidden safe or door to another room
- School - can't find classroom, or failing because I forgot to attend class for a whole semester

I've dreamed of 5, 6, 10, 13, 14 (although not against hundreds of opponents), 16, 17, and 18.
As to 18, I once dreamt that I was a prince from another galaxy, living on Earth. Ambassadors from my home world came to Earth to collect me. On Earth, I was normal as far as Earthlings go; on my home world, I was essentially godlike--omnipotence and omniscience were mine to command. My planet was the ruling planet in the galaxy I came from. They brought me back to my home world because the people were in disorder. I was the last of my clan, and only someone of my bloodline could restore peace. After restoring peace and justice and harmony, I ruled with a benevolent hand for many centuries.
All was well, but for one thing: When I learned of my heritage, I attempted to bring the Earth woman I loved with me to my home planet. She refused, first thinking me crazy when I told her of the discovery of my heritage, then thinking of me only as an alien when I proved my word. For all my centuries and power, I died alone, and that was the end of my bloodline. I can only guess that my people once more descended into chaos. Or perhaps, they remembered me, and the lessons I'd taught them, and chose to honor the memory of their benevolent god-person. I do not know.

It is interesting that you have dreamt about a giant black tornado.

Other recurring themes in my dreams: breathing underwater (Jimi Hendrix?), protecting a group of people during an attack or catastrophe, evading pursuers, finding my way through a labyrinth or complex building with irregular passageways, working for a previous employer or performing past job duties or some combination thereof.
I used to dream about being nude or in my underwear in public, but no longer. I used to dream about not being able to control the vehicle in which I'm riding/driving. Then it switched to situations where I needed to take control of a vehicle from the back seat or from another driver. Now I usually dream of driving large vehicles, like busses or trucks.
When I dream about being in school again, the location is often absurd, like a store in a mall or a meadow in the middle of a forest.
I can count the number of times I remember dreaming about actually having sex on one hand. There are many times I dreamed about making out with someone, though.

Interesting. I sometimes face off with my pursuers, but it is only a temporary solution because when I am pursued it is usually known that I am running from the law/government. My pursuit dreams in which I run away involve an unknown pursuer. I have had law/government pursuit dreams, but I hide instead of running in those dreams. They usually involve questioning people about where I am and I am one of the people who get questioned, but they don't realize that I am the one who they are looking for.
