Is Google Buzz Dead?
Fri Jul 2, 2010 7:41:12 pm

I rarely see any activity on there now. All new items on there for the past three months have been the result of integration with something else like Twitter, Flickr, or Google Chat status updates.

I have a few friends who use Google Reader along with me and share/comment on each others' stories. When someone shares a stories in Reader it gets sent to Buzz, but that's the only time I see anything in it.

I haven't seen that one. I only know of one other person who definitely uses Google Reader, but we never share anything on there.

That's because you joined late. It was active during the first week of its release and rapidly declined.

I joined Google Buzz when it was launched. I deactivated the feature after about five minutes.

Not surprising if you don't like Twitter.

I think it was mostly that I already have so many places where I "share" things. I didn't want another one taking up even more of my time.

I didn't join late! I was automatically joined through google. I had nothing to do with it and thought it was rather stupid since there were already twitter and fb.

I used "join" in the sense of using it.
