I just took a short walk to loosen my legs and noticed three separate license plates that either started or ended with the letters FAP. Do you think the universe is sending me a message via car registry?
Also, I still do all my banking through the mail, I find it more reassuring than maintaining it online for some reason. I've noticed that since the government restructured lending laws and whatnot, my credit card bill has been arriving a week to two later than it ever had. Pesky card companies, trying to get people to incur penalties...

I am more paranoid about things being lost in the mail than I am about hackers intercepting my online transactions.

I have one card, it is a necessity with some of the work I do. I have never incurred any fees, I never spend money that I don't have in hand.

That is a wise strategy. I don't think I could be that smart about it, though. It's my natural inclination to want to spend money, and I think I would probably ignore the fact that credit is not cash, and would spend myself into bankruptcy. It is for that reason that I refuse to own one.
