Blog-Stalk Confessions: Daddy dilemma...
Tue Jul 13, 2010 1:15:16 am

My girlfriend posed this question to me earlier. It is fun, but I am torn between three answers. If you had to choose a character from literature (any genre or era so long as it is a fictional character) to be your father, who would it be?

I cannot choose between God (the bible one), Sherlock Holmes or Hannibal Lecter. I know I should qualify that last one with an explanation... I think he'd be a great father. Aggressively protective and an excellent teacher. He also probably would not eat or kill his own child.

Who do you pick?

Interesting question. God might be good, but not if it's the Christian God. I don't want to get crucified. I have to think about this.

I rather like my dad. I think I will keep him.

In this hypothetical you do not have that option.

Indiana Jones
Interesting choice. So I take it you have not seen the latest Indy movie?

I have. But what do movie makers know anyway?

I don't like this game.

Actually, I just can't think of anyone.
