I think my train ran over someone. Unlike ordinary emergency brake activation, this one involved police and the train was still stuck in the station an hour later. I'm scanning the news now.

It seems to be officially reported as a mechanical failure, but I don't believe it.

People in bay area California seem to only jump in front of Cal-Train; no one kills themselves via San Francisco's municipal rail.
I suspect it's because Cal-Train actually runs on schedule.

That would make sense, because suicide is partly an attempt to take control when overwhelmed by things beyond your control. Having a predictable schedule helps with the sense of control.I suspect it's because Cal-Train actually runs on schedule.
