ESL people keep the faith, for the most part.
Then again, I have not a clue as to how you define beauty and am further befuddled as to why you would bother trying to see it in humanity.
IMO Humanity is dirty, which is to like or not.
I am also wondering if it is possible for others to be dichotomous without admittance/observance of psychological problems.

On a sidenote: A co-worker gave me a funny look when I told her I don't like to use the chemical degreaser to cooking surfaces; I wasn't sure how to take the situation in that she was surprised I was able to clean a flattop using a little water and vinegar.

I find myself somewhat conflicted when I find that I am watching anime: partly due to the mass genocide thing; partly due to the fact that I am feasibly entertained by bright colors and unnatural plot arcs; but I find it less reprehensible than watching the news or RL dramatization in that a handful of writers and animators will probably never make as much, in the entirety of their life, as many actors and anchors make in a year.
Then again, I hate everything.
